The Full Moon is the energetic peak of the Lunar Cycle and the Full Moon in Libra is the first Full Moon of the astrological year!
Generally speaking, the Full Moon is when our emotions can feel like they’re at their most powerful and uncontrollable, so if things feel heightened now, it’s completely normal! With the Full Moon in Libra, this is particularly our emotions surrounding our relationships (not just romantic ones, all of them), so be aware of this!

The Scoop: Release Everything Preventing You From Balance!
Any lunation in the signs of the equinoxes, i.e., Aries and Libra, are going to be all about equilibrium.
The Full Moon is always about balance, so the Full Moon in Libra (the sign literally represented as the scales of balance) is like the pinnacle of this, thus it’s no wonder that it is always the first Full Moon of the year!
The universe is telling us: RELEASE!
Anyone you need to FORGIVE (including and especially yourself): this is the time to do it. The Aries-Libra axis is all about the Self and the Other. Thus, with the Full Moon in Libra, we are meant to be balancing exactly these things.
Some questions to reflect on:
Do we give too much of ourselves or not enough (or maybe it’s both and it changes depending on the circumstances)?
What do we base the answer to the question ‘who am I’ on—our own perceptions or those of others?
Are our identities overly intertwined with the identity of another (even if it’s not a person per se, but more of an idea)?
In Libra, and as Venus (ruler of Libra) has just moved into Aries and is involved with this lunation, this Full Moon is especially good for releasing any built-up resentment in relationships, particularly the relationship you have with yourself.
This is also especially important as we have the Full Moon in Libra trine to Saturn in Aquarius (for the second year in a row). It is our own responsibility to balance our own relationships, but luckily, this is something we are more than capable of taking on (and are supported by the universe in doing).
